Patara is one of the furthest points we cover from Antalya Airport. The route runs west past Antalya, then follows the coast road through the Kemer area, Kumluca and Finike, and on towards Kaş and Kalkan before turning off to Gelemiş. Expect about 225 km and around 3 hours 30 minutes; summer traffic around Antalya and Kemer can add a little.

Much of the road follows the Lycian coast, with mountains on one side and the sea on the other, so the journey is part of the holiday. The vehicle is yours alone: no other passengers and no detours to other hotels.

Many flights reach Antalya in the evening or at night, and with a drive of this length that can mean arriving in Gelemiş in the early hours. • At the airport 2–3 hours before: about 11:30
• On the road about 3 hours 30 minutes, plus a margin for traffic
• Leave the hotel at around 06:30

Check-out times are set by the hotel, so arrange an early departure with reception the evening before. Tell us your flight time and we will suggest a pick-up time; on the day, simply be in the lobby at the agreed time.
