Patara to Antalya Airport Transfer

Patara, with its long sandy beach and ancient ruins, lies on the Lycian coast west of Kalkan. To reach Antalya Airport (AYT) the route follows the D400 eastwards through Kalkan, Kaş, Demre, Finike and Kemer – about 225 km and typically around 210 minutes (3 h 30 min). Many stretches wind between the mountains and the sea, so speeds are moderate, and summer traffic around Kemer and Antalya can add more time.

Airlines usually advise arriving about 2–3 hours before an international flight – check yours. Worked example for a 19:00 departure:

• At AYT by about 16:30.
• Patara to AYT: about 3 h 30 min.
• Buffer for the long coastal road: about 30–35 minutes.
• Pick-up: around 12:30.

Afternoon and evening flights suit this route best. With a morning flight the pick-up falls in the middle of the night, so some travellers prefer to spend their last night closer to Antalya – we can collect you from there instead.

Most visitors stay in small hotels and family-run guesthouses in Gelemiş, the village beside the beach and the ruins. The driver comes to the entrance of your accommodation at the agreed time; send us its exact name and address or a location pin. With a midday pick-up you leave around normal check-out time. For a night pick-up, settle the bill the evening before and ask your host how to leave the keys if nobody is at reception.

Pack the day before, keep passports, boarding passes, water and anything you need on the way in your hand luggage, and have the large suitcases ready by the door.
