The transfer covers about 40 km and usually takes around 50 minutes. The car first follows the main road from the airport towards Bodrum, then leaves it and continues on a smaller side road through the hills before dropping down to the bay. This last part is narrower and winding, which is why the drive takes longer than the distance suggests; your driver knows the road and takes it at a steady pace.

When you come out of baggage claim, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign and helps with your luggage. We track your flight, so an early or late landing is no problem and waiting on delays is free. A night arrival costs the same as a daytime one, and there are no luggage fees.

Accommodation is spread around the bay and over the hills behind it, so please send us the exact name or address:

• Small hotels – quieter places along the side road towards the bay.

Your driver takes you to the entrance or reception of your accommodation. For villas inside a gated site, tell us the house number and any gate details; where a lane is too narrow, the car stops at the nearest accessible point.

Yalıçiftlik is made for slow days by the sea, but the rest of the peninsula is within reach:
