The Old Town Marina is the small historic harbour at the foot of Kaleiçi, Antalya's walled old town. Ringed by old stone walls and the cliffs of the city, it is one of the most photographed corners of Antalya, and it is where many of the city's boat trips start: short cruises along the cliffs, swimming trips and sunset tours.

The drive from Antalya Airport (AYT) to the Old Town Marina is about 17 km and takes around 30 minutes, along the main city boulevards towards the centre. City traffic can add a few minutes at busy times.

The harbour sits below the old town walls, and cars cannot drive down to the quay. The driver may stop at the nearest accessible point above the harbour, and from there you walk down through the old town lanes and steps. It is a short but sloping walk, so it helps to know in advance.

• Send us the name of your boat or tour operator and any meeting point they gave you.
• If you have heavy luggage, tell us; we agree the most practical stopping point with you.
• For the return, we agree a clear meeting point above the harbour before you leave the car.

Comfortable shoes are a good idea, especially with small children or older family members.

For a flight, be at Antalya Airport about 2.5–3 hours before an international departure; check your airline's advice. The drive is short, but allow for the walk up from the harbour and city traffic: for a 14:00 flight a pick-up at around 10:15 is a typical example.
