Okurcalar Transfer from Antalya Airport

Okurcalar is a small resort town on the coast between Manavgat and Alanya, roughly half an hour west of Alanya centre. The main D400 highway runs through it, with the hotels on the sea side and a compact town centre of shops, cafés and pharmacies along the road.

The coastline here is more varied than the long straight beaches around Side: sandy stretches alternate with small coves and rocky headlands, and the Taurus Mountains rise close behind the town. Okurcalar is known mainly for its all-inclusive resorts, and it attracts families, couples and many returning guests who like being between two well-known holiday areas without staying in a busy city.

The route is one of the simplest on the Riviera: from AYT the driver takes the D400 coastal highway east, past Belek, Serik and Manavgat, and stays on it all the way to Okurcalar. After Manavgat the road runs closer to the sea, and on clear days you get the first views of the mountains. It is about 93 km and usually takes around 99 minutes, depending on traffic.

When you come out of the terminal, your driver is waiting with your name on a sign. We monitor your flight, so if it lands early or late the pick-up is adjusted automatically and waiting on delays is free. The fare is the same at night as during the day, and there is no fee for luggage, even for prams or golf bags.

From Okurcalar you can easily reach sights in both directions along the coast:

• Alarahan – a Seljuk caravanserai near the Alara River, with a castle on the hill above, just a short drive away.
• Alanya – the castle on the rocky peninsula, the Red Tower by the harbour, Damlataş Cave and Cleopatra Beach.
• Side – the ancient theatre and the Temple of Apollo on the seafront.
• Manavgat waterfall and Green Canyon – river scenery and boat trips in the Manavgat valley.

Plan to be at Antalya Airport around 2.5–3 hours before an international flight, and check your airline's advice. With about 99 minutes of driving, a 16:00 departure usually means a pick-up from Okurcalar at around 10:45–11:00. Because this is one of the longer transfers, we recommend fixing the time a day or two in advance.
