Duden Waterfalls Transfer from Antalya Airport

The Duden river runs through Antalya and forms two well-known waterfalls on its way to the sea. Upper Duden lies in the north of the city, inside a green park with shady paths, where you can walk behind the falling water through a small cave-like passage. Lower Duden is on the Lara side of the city, where the river drops straight off the cliffs into the Mediterranean — a view best enjoyed from the clifftop viewpoint.

The two falls are in different parts of the city, so it helps to tell us which one you want to see, or whether you would like to visit both. They are popular with families, couples and photographers, and both make an easy half-day trip from any hotel around Antalya.

Both waterfalls are close to the airport: the drive is about 12 km and takes around 22 minutes, a little more or less depending on which fall you choose and the time of day. Lower Duden is on the coastal side towards Lara, while Upper Duden is reached through the northern districts of the city. Guests staying in Lara and Kundu are especially close; from Belek it is a short trip along the coast, and from Kemer or Side the waterfalls fit into a full day in Antalya.

If you come straight from a flight, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and helps with your luggage. We track your flight, and waiting on delays is free.

• Lower Duden only – a short visit to the clifftop viewpoint, easy to combine with a walk along the Lara coast.
• Upper Duden only – more time in the park, the walk behind the falls and a picnic in the shade.
• Both waterfalls – the driver waits at each stop and takes you across the city between them.

Lower Duden can also be seen from the sea: boat trips leaving from the old harbour below Kaleici usually pass by the falls. If you plan a boat trip, we can take you to the old town and pick you up again later. Please mention the children's ages if you need child seats, which are free on request.

The waterfalls combine well with other sights in and around the city:

• Kaleici – the walled old town with narrow lanes and the old harbour; the car may stop at the nearest accessible point.
• Konyaalti beach – the long pebble beach in the west of the city, with mountain views.
• Perge – the ancient city near Aksu, only a short drive from Lower Duden.
• Kursunlu waterfall – a third, quieter waterfall in a nature park east of the city.

From either waterfall the airport is only about 20–25 minutes away. Even so, plan to be there about 2.5–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. With a flight at 18:00, for example, you could visit Lower Duden around midday and be dropped at the terminal around 15:00. Book both directions together and your return is arranged in advance.
