The quad safari at a glance
The Quad Safari Antalya is a compact adventure for travellers who want a few hours of off-road driving without planning a whole day around it. You ride an ATV (all-terrain quad bike) on a prepared track and on dirt trails through pine forest in the hilly countryside outside the city, where the ground stays dry and dusty for most of the season.
The appeal is simple: open air, the sound of the engine, gravel under the tyres and views towards the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. No previous experience is needed, because the activity team gives a safety briefing and a short practice before the group sets off behind a guide. The safari suits couples, groups of friends and families with older children who want a change from the beach, and because it fits into half a day you still have time for the pool or an evening out in your resort.

How the safari runs
A typical quad safari follows this pattern:
- Hotel pickup: our driver collects you from your hotel and takes you to the quad base outside Antalya.
- Briefing: the instructors explain the controls, hand signals and riding order and hand out the safety equipment.
- The ride: you follow the guide in a line over the ATV track and the forest trails, with short stops to regroup and take photos.
- Return: after the ride you can wash off the dust before we drive you back to your hotel.
The whole programme takes about 2–3 hours; the exact length depends on how far your hotel is from the base. The riding time itself is part of that and is set by the activity team on the day, depending on the group and the conditions.
Good to know before you ride
- Clothing: wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, closed shoes and sunglasses; a scarf or buff helps against the dust.
- Sun and heat: in summer bring sunscreen and water, and keep shoulders and arms covered.
- Safety: follow the instructors' instructions at all times, keep a safe distance from the quad in front and ride at the pace of the group.
- Age and fitness: riding a quad needs some strength in the arms and good concentration. The minimum age, the rules for passengers and whether a driving licence is needed are confirmed when you book. Pregnant travellers and people with back or neck problems should choose a calmer activity.
- Photos: keep your phone in a zipped pocket while riding and take pictures only at the stops.
Pickup and transport
We pick you up from your hotel and bring you back after the safari. Pickup is available from the resorts of the Antalya region, including Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı, Belek, Kadriye, Side, Manavgat, Kemer and Alanya. Because distances differ, the pickup time depends on your hotel area and is given to you when you book.
Transfers run in our own vehicles: a minivan of the VW Caravelle class, a VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito or a Mercedes Sprinter for larger groups. If you prefer to travel only with your own group, ask us for a private option. Child seats are free on request; just tell us the ages of the children.
