The tour at a glance

This is the fullest of the adventure combos: on top of the classic rafting, quad, jeep and zipline it adds canyoning, the most physical activity of the day. The programme usually takes place in the Taurus foothills, typically around the Köprüçay river and the Köprülü Canyon area, a national park of pine forests, limestone gorges and cold, clear water.

  • Canyoning – making your way down a narrow side gorge on foot and in the water: walking over rocks, wading and swimming through pools and, where the route allows, sliding down smooth rock chutes or jumping into deep water.
  • Rafting – paddling a raft down the river with a guide at the back, over easy rapids and calm stretches.
  • Quad route – riding a quad bike on dirt tracks behind the leader.
  • Jeep stage – open off-road vehicles on village roads and forest tracks, with stops at viewpoints.
  • Zipline – a ride in a harness along a steel cable above the valley.

It is made for fit, active adults and teenagers who enjoy water and a full programme from morning to evening.

How the day runs

Count on about 9 to 10 hours door to door, so this is a long day. The activity team sets the order on the day, and it can change with the season and water levels. A typical flow:

  • Early pickup from your hotel and drive inland to the activity area.
  • Check-in, safety briefing and equipment from the instructors; for canyoning this usually means a wetsuit, helmet and harness.
  • The canyoning section in the gorge, followed by the rafting stage on the river.
  • A meal break at a riverside facility.
  • The quad route, the jeep stage and the zipline in the afternoon.
  • Return drive to your hotel in the early evening.

Good to know

Canyoning means climbing over wet, slippery rock, swimming in cold water and moving through narrow places, so you should be comfortable in water and in reasonable physical shape. Wear a swimsuit and closed shoes with a good grip that can get wet – trainers are better than sandals here. Bring a towel, a full change of clothes, sunscreen and a hat for the dusty, sunny stages; the water is cold even in high summer.

Safety equipment and the briefing are provided by the activity operator's team: follow the instructors at every stage, especially at slides and jumps, which are never compulsory. Age limits and conditions for canyoning, the quad and the zipline are set by the operator, so tell us everyone's ages when booking. The tour is not advisable during pregnancy, with heart, back or neck problems, or for non-swimmers. Leave valuables at the hotel and carry your phone in a waterproof pouch if you want photos.

Pickup and transport

We pick you up from your hotel and bring you back after the activities, from all resorts of the Antalya region – Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı, Belek, Side, Kemer, Alanya and the villages in between. The pickup time depends on where your hotel is and is given to you when you book.

You travel in our own vehicles: a minivan of the VW Caravelle class, a VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito or a Mercedes Sprinter for larger parties. A private version with only your own group in the vehicle can be asked for. Child seats are free on request.
