The tour at a glance
This day stays inside Antalya itself and joins the city's two classic faces: the walled old quarter of Kaleiçi and the Düden river, which ends its journey by pouring off the cliffs into the sea. It suits first-time visitors, families and anyone who wants to see the real city between beach days without a long drive.
- Kaleiçi Old Town – narrow lanes inside the old city walls, Ottoman-era houses with wooden bay windows, small mosques, shaded courtyards and craft shops; the fluted Yivli Minaret, a Seljuk landmark from the 13th century, rises above the rooftops.
- Hadrian's Gate – the triple-arched marble gate built around 130 AD for the visit of the Roman emperor Hadrian, still the grand entrance to the old town.
- Antalya Marina – the old harbour at the foot of Kaleiçi, sheltered by cliffs and walls, with fishing boats, excursion boats and views across the bay to the Taurus Mountains.
- Lower Düden Waterfall – at Lara the river drops about 40 metres straight into the sea; from the clifftop park you watch the spray and the rainbows from above.

How the day runs
The tour takes about 8 hours door to door. A typical day looks like this, although the order of the stops can change with traffic and season:
- Pickup from your hotel and drive into Antalya city centre.
- Walk through Hadrian's Gate into Kaleiçi and explore the old lanes, with time for photos, a coffee and the small shops.
- Down to the old harbour to watch the boats; short boat trips along the cliffs leave from here, and whether one is part of your programme is confirmed when you book.
- A break for lunch in the old town or by the harbour.
- Drive to the waterfalls: the Lower Düden falls at Lara, where the river meets the sea, and depending on the programme the shaded park around the Upper Düden falls.
- Return drive to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Good to know
Kaleiçi is a walking district: the lanes are paved with old stones, slope down towards the harbour and have steps in places, so comfortable shoes matter more than anything else. Light clothing, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential from May to October, when the city is hot at midday; carry a bottle of water. For a mosque visit, shoulders and knees should be covered and women may be asked to cover their hair.
The viewpoints at Düden are fenced, but keep small children close at the cliff edge. The best photos of the falls are taken from the clifftop path, and the harbour looks its best on a clear day with the mountains behind it. The pace is gentle, so the tour suits children and older travellers; anyone with limited mobility can simply skip the steeper lanes.
Pickup and transport
We pick you up from your hotel and bring you back after the tour, from all resorts of the Antalya region – Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı, Belek, Side, Kemer, Alanya and the villages in between; from the far ends of the coast the drive into the city is naturally longer. The pickup time depends on where your hotel is and is given to you when you book.
You travel in our own vehicles: a minivan of the VW Caravelle class, a VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito or a Mercedes Sprinter for larger parties. If you prefer a private version with only your own group on board, just ask. Child seats are free on request.
Booking
Book 24/7 on WhatsApp or through the booking form. We send you a fixed price within 1 minute; there is no prepayment and cancellation is free. You pay in the vehicle on the day, in cash or by card if agreed. What is included (entrance tickets, meals, equipment) is confirmed when you book. Need an airport transfer as well? Combine it with the tour in the same booking.
