Urla to İzmir Airport (ADB) Transfer

Urla is about 48 km from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB), usually around 45 minutes by motorway. It is one of the shorter airport runs on the peninsula, but the route passes İzmir, so weekday morning and evening traffic around the city matters more than the distance itself. Summer Sunday evenings, when weekenders return from Çeşme, can also be slow.

For an international flight, plan to be at the airport roughly 2–3 hours before departure — check your airline's advice. A worked example for a morning flight:

• Flight at 11:00 → be at ADB around 08:30
• About 45 minutes of driving, plus a buffer for rush hour near İzmir
• → pick-up at about 07:15

Your driver meets you at the agreed time at the hotel lobby or entrance, or at the door of your guesthouse or holiday home. Urla's accommodation is spread out — the old town centre, the İskele harbour area and country hotels along the vineyard roads — and some estates sit on small rural lanes. Small hotels often have a fixed check-out time. If your flight is late in the day, ask the owners about a late check-out or a place to leave your luggage. Leaving at dawn? Settle the bill the evening before and keep your bags ready by the door.

From Urla the motorway leads east to İzmir, then on to the airport in Gaziemir. ADB has separate international and domestic terminals, so tell us your airline or flight number and you will be dropped at the right departures entrance. It is a private transfer: no shared shuttle, no stops at other hotels.
