The transfer from Dalaman Airport to Marmaris covers about 96 km and usually takes around 1 hour 35 minutes. The road heads west past Ortaca and the lake town of Köyceğiz, then climbs through pine-covered hills before descending to the bay of Marmaris.

It is a pleasant, scenic drive, but timing varies: summer weekends, changeover days at the hotels and evening traffic in town can add some minutes, and the last stretch into the centre is often the busiest.
