Belek to Kaş Transfer

This is one of the longer journeys in the region: about 226 km, usually around 215 minutes, or three and a half hours. From Belek the road passes Antalya and then follows the coast west via Kemer, where the Taurus mountains drop straight into the sea. After Kemer it continues through Kumluca, Finike and Demre before reaching Kaş, a laid-back harbour town on the Lycian coast. The second half is the scenic part, with bays, greenhouses and mountain slopes along the way, and some winding stretches.

Driving times depend on the season and the hour. Summer weekends and the traffic around Antalya can add time, so treat the figure above as a guide rather than a promise.

Many travellers combine two very different stays. They start in Belek with its large all-inclusive hotels, sandy beaches and golf, then move to Kaş for a slower rhythm: small pensions and boutique hotels, a lively harbour, swimming platforms on the rocks and boat trips. A private transfer makes the switch easy, because all your luggage stays with you in one vehicle from door to door, with no luggage fee.

• Check out after breakfast and you arrive in Kaş in the afternoon, when rooms are usually ready.
• If you leave earlier, ask your hotel in Kaş about a luggage room or early check-in.
• Accommodation in the town centre can sit on narrow lanes; the car stops at the nearest accessible point.

Three and a half hours is easier in a roomy vehicle with space to stretch. Couples and families often choose a Minivan (1–6 passengers) or the VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito (1–7); larger groups travel together in a Mercedes Sprinter (8–16).
