Side Marina Transfer: Private Car from Antalya Airport

Side is one of the best-known resorts on the Turkish Riviera, built on a narrow peninsula where an ancient city once stood. The harbour lies at the tip of this peninsula, close to the remains of the old port, the Temple of Apollo by the sea and the lanes of the old town. Today it is used by yachts, gulets and excursion boats, and the waterfront is lined with restaurants and cafés.

Because the marina sits inside the historic centre, arriving here feels very different from a large modern marina: you step off the boat and are almost immediately among columns, shops and seafront terraces. This makes Side a pleasant place to start or end a charter, or to meet friends who arrive by boat.

From Antalya Airport (AYT) the marina is about 65 km away, roughly 85 minutes by road. The route follows the main coastal highway east past Aksu, Belek and Serik, then turns off towards Side near Manavgat.

Many guests come from hotels in Side itself or along the neighbouring coast, such as Kumköy, Sorgun, Titreyengöl, Çolaklı and Evrenseki, or from Manavgat town; these are short drives. From Belek or Alanya the journey takes longer, but it is still easy as a single trip. The old town around the harbour is largely closed to regular traffic, so your driver takes you to the marina gate if access is possible, otherwise to the nearest accessible point, and helps with your luggage.

For yacht and gulet guests, the main thing is timing: tell us when you need to be on board or when you come ashore, and we plan the car around it. Crew changes, provisioning runs to town and transfers between the marina and your hotel can all be arranged as separate rides.

If you have time before or after your boat, Side is a lovely place to explore on foot. The ancient theatre, the colonnaded street and the Temple of Apollo are all close to the harbour, and the beaches east and west of the peninsula are only minutes away. In summer, mornings and early evenings are the most comfortable times to walk around; bring a hat, sun cream and water.

When you land at Antalya Airport, we meet you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and drive you straight to the marina or to your hotel in Side. We track your flight and wait free of charge if it is delayed, and there is no night surcharge, which helps when boats leave early or flights arrive late.

On the way home, plan to be at the airport 2–3 hours before an international flight; check your airline's advice. With a drive of around an hour and a half, we agree a pick-up time at the marina or hotel with a comfortable margin, especially in high season.
