The route from Antalya Airport skirts the city, follows the Konyaaltı shore and then runs south on the coastal road between the Taurus mountains and the sea, past Beldibi, Kemer and Tekirova. Beyond the Kemer coast it leaves the main road at Yazır and winds down the valley towards the ruins of ancient Olympos and the beach. The whole trip is about 88 km and usually takes around 105 minutes.

Olympos lies well away from the big resort strips, so there is no direct bus to the door. A private car takes you straight from the terminal to the village, with no changes on the way.

Many flights reach Antalya in the evening or after midnight. By the time you drive down the valley the lanes are quiet and dark, and the last stretch is not a road you want to look for on your own. With a private transfer the driver takes you as far into the village as the lanes allow; on narrow sections the car may stop at the nearest accessible point.
