National Golf Club Transfer: Antalya Airport to Belek

National Golf Club is one of the older golf clubs in Belek, the stretch of coast that grew into Turkey's best-known golf destination. Its 18-hole course runs through the pine forest that covers much of the Belek area, with old trees and water shaping many of the holes.

Belek itself is a line of large resort hotels between the sea and the forest, roughly halfway between Antalya city and Side. Many golf clubs lie within a few kilometres of each other here, so golfers often stay for a week and play several courses. From Antalya Airport the club is about 33 km away, roughly 48 minutes by road. The route follows the D400 highway east towards Side and turns off into the Belek tourism area; outside the city traffic is usually light.

• From Lara and Antalya city: east along the D400, an easy morning drive.
