The transfer is one of the shortest in the region: about 17 km, usually around 20 minutes. The route follows the main coastal highway east from the airport across the flat Dalaman plain, so the drive is easy and straightforward, then turns into Ortaca town or towards your village.

After baggage claim, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name and helps with your luggage. We track your flight, so an early or late landing is no problem and waiting on delays is free. Arriving after midnight costs the same as arriving at noon, and there are no luggage fees — pushchairs, golf bags and extra suitcases travel at no extra charge.

• Ortaca town – apartments and small hotels close to the shops, the market and the bus station.

Because the airport is so close, the return is relaxed. Aim to be at Dalaman Airport about 2–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. For a 12:00 departure, for example, a pick-up from Ortaca at around 09:15 leaves enough time; if you stay further out towards Dalyan, we will suggest a slightly earlier time.
