Kestel is a coastal district a few kilometres east of central Alanya, squeezed between the sea and the steep, green slopes of the Taurus Mountains. Its neighbours are Tosmur, on the Dim River to the west, and Mahmutlar to the east. The coastal road runs right through it, with a long, mostly pebbly beach on the seaward side and the residential streets climbing the hillside on the other.

Kestel is known for its many modern residence complexes, a growing number of beach hotels and the open views across the bay towards Alanya's castle peninsula. It feels more relaxed than the centre of town, yet buses, shops and restaurants are close at hand, and Alanya itself is only a short drive away. Kestel is about 134 km from the airport, a drive of roughly 128 minutes. The route follows the D400 coastal highway east via Serik and Manavgat, continues along the resort coast west of Alanya, goes through Alanya and past Tosmur, and then reaches Kestel on the same coastal road. The estimate already allows for the usual slower stretch through Alanya.

When you come through the doors of the arrivals hall, look for your driver holding a sign with your name. We track your flight, so an early landing or a delay is no problem: the pick-up adjusts and any waiting on delays is free. There is no night surcharge and no fee for extra luggage. Kestel has two faces. Along the coastal road you find beach hotels and complexes with direct access to the shore; up the hillside, residence complexes with pools and gardens look out over the sea. On departure day, aim to be at Antalya Airport about 2.5–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. The drive is just over two hours, so for a 14:00 flight a pick-up in Kestel at around 08:45 is a sensible choice. We confirm the exact time with you the evening before.
