The distance from Antalya Airport is about 162 km and the drive takes around 2 hours 50 minutes. The first part follows the coastal highway east past Belek, Side and Manavgat. The route then leaves the coast and climbs inland on a long, winding mountain road, with many bends before you reach the district. It is a beautiful drive through the forest, but it needs time, so it is best not to plan anything else for the arrival day.

In winter, snow, ice or fog can affect the higher sections. Tell us your plan and we tell you what is possible on your date. Your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign and helps with your bags. We track your flight, and waiting on delays is free. The fixed price is the same day or night, with no extra charge for luggage.

Gündoğmuş is spread out: the district centre is small, and many families stay in villages or highland houses some distance away. When you book, give us the name of the village or yayla, or send a location pin on WhatsApp, and tell us if the last part of the road is narrow or unpaved. We take you to the door wherever the road allows, and otherwise to the nearest point a vehicle can reach.

A stay in the mountains combines well with days by the sea. With a private car you can go down to Alanya, with its castle on the rock above the harbour and the long town beaches, or west to Manavgat, where the waterfall and the river are close to the town. The ancient harbour town of Side is also within reach for an afternoon among temple ruins by the water.

Because of the long mountain road, plan the return with a good margin. Aim to be at Antalya Airport about 2.5–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. For a flight at 16:00, for example, a pick-up in Gündoğmuş at around 10:00 is a sensible plan; from a remote yayla, or in winter, we may suggest leaving earlier. Booking both directions together means everything is arranged in advance.
