Aspendos Arena Transfer

Aspendos Arena is a modern open-air venue on the plain near Serik, close to the famous Roman theatre of Aspendos. It is used for large evening shows, such as the dance show Fire of Anatolia, which combine music, dance and lighting under the open sky. The arena is separate from the ancient theatre itself, although both carry the Aspendos name and lie in the same area — when you book, it helps to say which one you are going to.

Show programmes change from season to season, so please check the show schedule for your date before you plan the evening. The arena is not in a town centre, which is why a private car that brings you there and collects you afterwards is the most relaxed way to go.

From Antalya Airport the distance is about 40 km and the drive takes around an hour. The route follows the main coastal highway east towards Serik and then turns off on local roads to the arena. Guests staying in Belek, Side, Lara or Kemer start from their hotel instead: from Belek and Side it is a fairly short ride, from Lara a little longer, and from Kemer it is a long evening drive, so allow plenty of time.

If you land on the day of the show and want to go straight there, your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and helps with the luggage. We track your flight and waiting on delays is free. Tell us your show time and we plan the pick-up so that you arrive with time to find your seats.

A show transfer is simple when the times are clear from the start. Tell us your plan and we arrange it:

• Hotel pick-up – your driver collects you at the hotel entrance at the agreed time before the show.
• Drop-off at the arena – the car brings you as close to the entrance as traffic arrangements on the night allow.
• Return at an agreed time – the driver comes back for the end of the show and meets you at an agreed point, then takes you to your hotel door.

On busy evenings many coaches and cars leave at the same time, so agree a clear meeting point and keep your phone switched on. You can also reach us on WhatsApp throughout the evening if anything changes.

The arena is a good excuse to see more of this part of the coast. The Aspendos theatre, one of the best-preserved Roman theatres anywhere, and the remains of its long aqueduct are close by and can be visited during the day. Perge, with its colonnaded street, lies between the airport and Serik, and the Köprülü Canyon national park lies further inland in the mountains.

Some guests combine a daytime visit to the ancient sites with the evening show, with the driver waiting or returning between the two. Send us your idea on WhatsApp and we reply with one fixed price for the whole vehicle and the whole plan.

After the show your driver takes you straight back to your hotel. If you are flying out late the same night, you can also go directly from the arena to Antalya Airport — about an hour's drive. Aim to be at the airport about 2.5–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice — and tell us the time the show ends so we can check that the plan works.
