Antalya Bus Station (Otogar) Transfer

The Antalya Otogar is the city's main intercity bus station, on the north side of Antalya in the Kepez district. Long-distance coaches arrive here from all over Turkey: travellers coming down from Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Istanbul, Izmir or Konya often end their journey at this terminal, and many others start a bus trip here after a beach holiday.

The station is large and busy, and the moment you step off an overnight coach with your luggage is rarely the moment you want to start negotiating a ride. The distance between the otogar and Antalya Airport (AYT) is about 20 km, around 34 minutes. The route follows the city's main roads around the northern edge of Antalya, so it avoids most of the centre.

• Bus to plane: you arrive by coach and fly out the same day. We pick you up at the bus station and drive you directly to the terminal.
• Plane to bus: you land at AYT and continue by long-distance bus. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign; we track your flight, so a delay is no problem and waiting is free.

Give yourself a sensible buffer between the two, because both buses and flights can change their times.

Coaches often arrive early in the morning or late at night, and their arrival time can shift by quite a lot. To make the meeting easy:

• Tell us the bus company and the expected arrival time when you book.
• We agree a clear meeting point at the station, and the driver waits there with a name sign.

Most people arriving at the otogar are heading somewhere else. A private car takes you door to door, wherever you are staying:

• In the city: Konyaaltı, Lara or the old town of Kaleiçi, where the car may stop at the nearest accessible point because of the narrow lanes.
• East along the coast: Kundu, Belek, Side, Manavgat and Alanya.
• West and south-west: Beldibi, Göynük, Kemer, Tekirova and further along the Lycian coast.
