Antalya Aquarium Transfer

Antalya Aquarium is one of the big family attractions of the city: a large aquarium in Konyaaltı, on the western side of Antalya, just a short walk from the long pebble beach. Children enjoy it, and it is a good plan for a hot afternoon, a windy day when the sea is rough or a break from the hotel pool.

Most visitors are holidaymakers staying in Antalya's resort areas who come for a few hours, often combined with the beach or a stroll along the seafront. Konyaaltı itself is a lively district with a wide promenade, parks and cafés, and the mountains of the Kemer coast rise behind the bay. Because the aquarium is inside the city, it is easy to reach by car from almost anywhere along this coast.

From Antalya Airport (AYT) it is about 27 km and around 40 minutes to the aquarium. The route crosses the city from east to west towards the Konyaaltı seafront; at busy times of day the city traffic can add a little to the journey.

Arriving with a flight and want to go there first? Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, and because we track your flight a delay costs you nothing extra. More often, guests come from their hotel: from Lara the trip is short, from Kemer it follows the coast road from the west, and from Belek or Side it is a longer drive. Send us your hotel and we tell you how long it takes and what fits into your day.

A private car means you do not have to look for a taxi with tired children at the end of the visit. The driver brings you to the entrance and we arrange the way back in advance:

The aquarium is a good anchor for a relaxed day in the western part of Antalya. Ideas within easy driving distance:

• Konyaaltı beach and its promenade, right next door.
• The Antalya Museum on the same side of the city, with finds from the region's ancient sites.
• The cable car at the western end of Konyaaltı, which goes up to a viewpoint over the bay.
• Kaleiçi, the old town, for dinner; the car may stop at the nearest accessible point.
• The Düden waterfalls, the upper falls in the north of the city or the lower falls dropping into the sea on the Lara side.

If you visit on your departure day, remember to be at Antalya Airport about 2.5 to 3 hours before an international flight (check your airline's advice). The aquarium is close enough to the airport to fit in a morning visit before an evening flight, with your luggage safely in the car if the driver waits.
