Aksu Transfer from Antalya Airport

Aksu is one of the districts of greater Antalya, lying on the fertile plain east of the city, right next to the airport. It takes its name from the Aksu river, which crosses the plain on its way to the sea. For a long time the area was mainly farmland, with orchards, fields and greenhouses, and agriculture is still an important part of local life.

Today Aksu is also a fast-growing residential area, with new housing estates and apartment complexes alongside the older villages. Many people come here to visit family, to stay in a holiday flat or villa, or to look at property. The district is also home to the ancient city of Perge and the Kursunlu waterfall, and the beach resorts of Kundu are within its borders, though they have their own page on our site.

The distance is only about 10 km and the transfer normally takes around 16 minutes. From the terminal, the driver takes the main roads east of the airport towards the Aksu plain; depending on your address, the route continues on the D400 highway or along local roads between the fields and the new neighbourhoods. You will be at your door very soon after leaving the airport.

After baggage claim, your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. He helps with your luggage and walks you to the vehicle. We track your flight, so if it lands early or late the driver adjusts to the real arrival time, and waiting on delays is free. Night landings cost the same as daytime ones, and luggage is always included.

Visitors to Aksu stay in many different places: modern apartment complexes with pools, detached villas with gardens, village houses among the orchards, and family homes. Because the district is spread out and new streets are added all the time, the same street name can appear in different neighbourhoods. Please send us the full address with the neighbourhood name and, if possible, a location pin when you book.

The vehicle is reserved for your party only and takes you directly to the entrance of your building or the gate of your villa. There are no shared shuttles and no stops on the way, which is especially handy after a late arrival with tired children.

Aksu's location makes it easy to reach many sights by private car:

• Perge – the ruins of a large ancient city with a colonnaded street, a stadium and impressive city gates, inside the district.
• Kursunlu waterfall – a nature park with a waterfall and shady paths along a green pool.
• Aspendos – the famous Roman theatre further east, often visited on the same day as Perge.
• Kaleici – Antalya's walled old town, with its narrow lanes and old harbour.
• Lower Duden waterfall – where the Duden river drops from the cliffs straight into the sea in Lara.

The airport is just a few minutes away, but you should still arrive about 2.5–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. For an early flight at 07:00, for example, a pick-up from Aksu at around 04:00 is enough, as the drive itself takes only about a quarter of an hour.
