Antalya Medical Travel: Airport, Hotel and Hospital Transfers

If you are travelling to Antalya for a medical appointment, a pre-booked private transfer can take you straight from the airport to the hospital or your hotel, and back again on the days you need it. What this guide covers (and what it does not)

People come to Antalya for many kinds of planned treatment, and most of them share the same practical worry: how do I get from the plane to the clinic, from the clinic to my bed, and back to the airport without stress? This guide is only about that part, the ground transport.

We do not give medical advice, and we do not recommend or compare hospitals or doctors. Your clinic and your own doctor are the right people for anything about the treatment itself. What we can do is move you, your companion and your bags between the places on your schedule, at a fixed price agreed before each ride.

You can find the hospitals we drive to most often on our hospital transfers page.

Airport arrival: hospital first or hotel first?

Ask your clinic one question before you book the flight: do they want to see you on the day you land, or the morning after? The answer decides your first transfer.

  • Straight to the hospital makes sense when the clinic has given you an arrival slot. Send us the clinic name and address, and the driver brings you to the main entrance.
  • Hotel first is the calmer option after a long flight. You rest, and we pick you up for the appointment the next day.
  • Hospital, then hotel in one booking is also possible, for example a short check-in visit before the night. Tell us roughly how long you expect to stay so we can plan the second leg.

At Antalya Airport (AYT) the driver waits in arrivals with your name on a sign. We follow your flight, so a delay does not cost you anything extra. Most clinics are in the city, which is close: the Lara side is ≈ 20 minutes from the airport and Konyaaltı ≈ 35 minutes. For general tips on landing, see our Antalya Airport arrival guide.

Planning rides around appointment times

Medical schedules change. A check-up may be moved to the afternoon, or a follow-up may be added at short notice. That is why we suggest booking each ride as its own transfer instead of trying to fix the whole week in advance.

  1. Send us the appointment time and the clinic address.
  2. We suggest a pick-up time with a comfortable margin for city traffic.
  3. You receive a fixed-price quote within 1 minute and confirm it.
  4. If the clinic moves your slot, message us with the new time as early as you can.

For the ride back from the clinic, it often works better to agree an approximate time and then send a message when you are ready, because nobody can say exactly when a consultation will end. Tell us when booking and we will tell you what is possible on that day.

Companions, children and luggage in the same car

Most patients travel with someone: a partner, a parent, an adult child, sometimes a small group of relatives. The price is per vehicle, not per person, so your companions ride with you at no extra cost per head.

  • Minivan for 1–6 passengers, the usual choice for a patient and one or two companions.
  • VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito for 1–7 passengers, if you prefer more room and a quieter ride.
  • Mercedes Sprinter for 8–16 passengers, for families travelling together.

There is no luggage fee, which matters on longer stays when suitcases tend to be heavy. If a child is travelling with you, child seats are free on request. You can compare the vehicles on our fleet page.

Travelling with a wheelchair or limited mobility

A folding wheelchair is carried in the luggage space like a suitcase, with no extra charge. Just mention it when you book so we keep enough room next to the other bags; a wheelchair plus several large cases may mean a bigger vehicle.

Our cars are regular passenger vehicles. The traveller needs to be able to move from the wheelchair to a car seat, with help from a companion if needed. If that is difficult, or if you also carry walking frames, crutches or other equipment, tell us in advance. We prefer to say honestly what is possible rather than surprise you at the kerb.

When you write to us, the useful details are:

  • whether the wheelchair folds, and roughly how big it is;
  • how many people and bags are travelling;
  • the exact entrance the clinic wants you to use, if they have told you.

Days between appointments and the return to the airport

Between visits many patients stay quietly in a hotel near the clinic. If you want to see a little of the city on a free day, a short trip to the old town is easy to arrange; ask your clinic first whether it suits your recovery.

For the flight home, plan the hotel pick-up with plenty of time. From Lara or the city centre the airport is close, but check-in queues in summer can be long. Our article on when to leave the hotel for the airport has a simple way to work it out. If your treatment ends close to the flight, a direct clinic-to-airport ride is also possible.

How to book and pay

Booking is open 24/7 by WhatsApp or the booking form. Send the date, the pick-up address (airport, hotel or clinic), the destination, the number of passengers and bags, and mention any wheelchair.

You get a fixed price for the vehicle within 1 minute. It does not change for traffic, night hours or extra luggage, and there is no night surcharge. Nothing is paid in advance: you pay in the vehicle in cash, or by card if agreed beforehand. Cancellation is free, which is useful when appointment dates move. The return transfer can be booked at the same time as the arrival. Current prices are on our prices page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you take me directly from Antalya Airport to the hospital?

Yes. Send us the clinic name and address with your flight number, and the driver brings you from arrivals to the clinic entrance.

Can my companion ride in the same car?

Yes. The price is per vehicle, so companions travel with you. Choose a Minivan (1–6), VIP Vito (1–7) or Sprinter (8–16) depending on the group.

Is there a charge for a folding wheelchair?

No. A folding wheelchair travels as luggage and there is no luggage fee. Please mention it when booking so we keep space for it.

What if my appointment time changes?

Message us with the new time as early as possible. Cancellation is free and nothing is paid in advance, so a change of plan is simple.

Do you recommend hospitals or doctors?

No. We only arrange transport. Questions about clinics and treatment belong with your clinic and your own doctor.

How do I pay?

In the vehicle, in cash, or by card if agreed in advance. There is no prepayment and the price is fixed before the ride.

Is the transfer private or shared?

All our transfers are 100% private; the vehicle is dedicated to your group only, with no other passengers.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

The price is per vehicle. One passenger or six pay the same fare in the same vehicle.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight live and adjust the pickup time to the new landing time, free of charge.

Is prepayment required?

No, standard bookings need no prepayment; you can pay the driver at the end of the transfer.
