Antalya Airport to Kızılağaç & Kızılot Transfer Guide

East of Manavgat, the coast between Side and Alanya is lined with large resort hotels in Kızılağaç, Kızılot, Denizyaka and Çenger. From Antalya Airport each one is roughly an hour and a half away by private transfer. Here is how the villages line up, what to expect on the road, and whether Gazipaşa Airport is worth considering instead.

A resort strip between Side and Alanya

Many holidaymakers have heard of Side and of Alanya but not of the stretch that links them. Once you cross the Manavgat area heading east, the coast road runs past a long line of big all-inclusive style resorts set back from the beach. Kızılağaç, Kızılot, Denizyaka and Çenger are the names on this part of the map.

They are not town centres in the way Side or Alanya are. Most guests here spend the week inside a large hotel complex, which makes the airport transfer the one journey of the holiday that really needs organising. Administratively the area still belongs to Manavgat, and it is served from Antalya Airport just like Side.

For travellers that has a simple upside: the whole strip is a single, straightforward drive along the main coast road, without mountain passes or narrow old-town lanes at the end.

The villages in order, going east

The road from Antalya Airport (AYT) heads east along the coast, past Belek and the Side area, then on through Manavgat. Up to that point you are on the same route as a Side transfer, which is why the extra distance to this strip adds only a modest amount of time. After Manavgat the villages follow one another:

  • Kızılağaç: about 82 km, around 92 minutes. The first of the group. Route and prices.
  • Kızılot: about 85 km, around 94 minutes. Route and prices.
  • Denizyaka: right next to Kızılot, about 85 km and around 95 minutes. Route and prices.
  • Çenger: a coastal neighbourhood of Manavgat between Kızılot and Okurcalar, about 88 km and around 98 minutes. Route and prices.

Beyond Çenger you enter the Alanya district at Okurcalar. Because Kızılot and Denizyaka blend into each other, hotels sometimes give either name in their address; just send us the hotel's address as written on your booking and the driver will find it.

Antalya or Gazipaşa: which airport makes sense?

Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) lies further east, beyond Alanya, and it is sometimes suggested for this coast. The numbers show why it rarely matters much: from Gazipaşa to Kızılot is about 87 km and around 85 minutes, while from Antalya it is about 85 km and around 94 minutes. That is a near tie.

Since Antalya Airport has far more flights from more places, most visitors simply book whichever flight suits their dates and times, and for the majority that means AYT. If a convenient Gazipaşa flight comes up, we serve that airport too, so either choice works. If you are also curious about the resorts a little further east, our Antalya Airport to Alanya guide covers that next stretch of the coast.

Large hotels and what that means on arrival

Resorts on this strip are usually spread out, with a gatehouse, a long access road and sometimes several reception buildings. A private driver takes you all the way to the main entrance instead of leaving you at the roadside with your cases. If your booking mentions a separate family block or villa section, tell us and we will pass it on.

If you land very early, check your hotel's own check-in rules before you fly; the transfer itself runs at any hour, and the fare does not change with the time of day. Keeping a change of clothes in your hand luggage is a sensible habit for a long arrival day.

Picking the right van for a family holiday

This coast is popular with families and with groups of friends travelling together, so the vehicle size matters:

  • Minivan: up to 6 passengers.
  • VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito: up to 7 passengers, with roomier seats for a ride of an hour and a half.
  • Mercedes Sprinter: 8 to 16 passengers, so two or three families can travel together.

Child seats are free on request; give us each child's age so the correct seat is fitted before pickup. Pushchairs, extra suitcases and inflatables go in without a luggage fee. The price is per vehicle, so it does not climb with every extra child. Details are on our fleet page.

From the arrivals hall to the hotel door

Your driver waits in the arrivals hall at Antalya Airport with your name on a sign. Flight tracking means a delay simply moves the pickup, and the extra waiting is free. The vehicle is reserved for your party only, with no detours to other hotels along this busy coast, which is a real difference from shared shuttles that may stop at several resorts between Side and Alanya.

Payment happens in the vehicle at the end of the trip, in cash or by card if agreed beforehand. There is no prepayment, no night surcharge, and cancellation is free. We operate with a D2 transfer permit from the Ministry of Transport and passenger seat insurance.

Timing your departure from the hotel

For the trip back, think of an hour and a half on the road, a little more from Çenger, plus a margin for summer traffic around Manavgat. Being at the terminal two to three hours ahead of an international flight is the usual rule of thumb. Share your flight time and we suggest when the driver should be at reception.

If you are weighing up this area against the villages nearer Side, our Side where-to-stay guide describes Kumköy, Çolaklı, Evrenseki and Sorgun, all a little closer to the airport.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far is Kızılot from Antalya Airport?

About 85 km, which takes around 94 minutes by private transfer. Kızılağaç is slightly closer at about 82 km and 92 minutes.

Is Gazipaşa Airport closer to Kızılot?

Only marginally in time: about 85 minutes from Gazipaşa compared with around 94 from Antalya. Most visitors fly into Antalya because it has many more flight options; we serve both airports.

Are Kızılot and Denizyaka the same place?

They are separate neighbouring villages that run into each other, and both are about 85 km from Antalya Airport. Send us your hotel's address and the driver will go straight there.

Will the car stop at other hotels on the way?

No. Every transfer is private, so the vehicle carries only your group directly to your hotel.

Where can I see the transfer price?

In the live price table on each route page. You can also ask on WhatsApp or by e-mail and receive a fixed per-vehicle quote within 1 minute.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes, free of charge. Mention the children's ages when you book.

Is the transfer private or shared?

All our transfers are 100% private; the vehicle is dedicated to your group only, with no other passengers.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

The price is per vehicle. One passenger or six pay the same fare in the same vehicle.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight live and adjust the pickup time to the new landing time, free of charge.

Is prepayment required?

No, standard bookings need no prepayment; you can pay the driver at the end of the transfer.
