The tour at a glance
The coastal plain of the Antalya region is ideal for gentle riding: pine woods grow right down to long sandy beaches, and riding stables near the resorts use these trails for relaxed rides away from the traffic. This tour combines both landscapes. You ride at a walking pace along a forest trail in the shade of the pines and then out onto the beach, where the horses walk along the water line with the sea on one side and the mountains behind.
The route is chosen for beginners, so no riding experience is needed. The stable team matches each rider with a calm horse, and more confident riders can tell the team about their experience. There are photo stops on the way, which is why the ride is popular with couples, friends and families with older children.
The exact stable and trail depend on your resort area; they are confirmed when you book.
Booking
How the experience runs
The ride itself and the transfers together take about 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the route length you choose and the distance from your hotel. A typical flow:
- Pickup from your hotel at the agreed time and a short drive to the riding stable.
- Welcome, a short briefing on how to sit, hold the reins and stop the horse, and fitting of a helmet.
- Mounting with help from the stable team and the start of the ride on the forest trail.
- Riding out onto the beach, with stops for photos along the shore.
- Return to the stable and the drive back to your hotel.
Morning and late afternoon rides are usually the most pleasant in summer, when the heat is lower and the light along the beach is soft.
Good to know
- Wear long, comfortable trousers and closed shoes; sandals and flip-flops are not suitable for riding.
- Bring sun cream, sunglasses with a strap and water; a light long-sleeved top protects from the sun.
- Always follow the instructions of the stable team and the guide riding with the group; do not overtake or gallop unless the guide allows it.
- Weight limits and the minimum age for children are set by the stable; ask when booking. Young children may ride with assistance.
- Older travellers in good health usually manage a walking-pace ride; mention back or joint problems in advance.
- Keep your phone in a zipped pocket and take photos only during the stops.

Pickup and transport
We collect you from your hotel and bring you back after the ride, from the resort areas of the Antalya region: Lara, Kundu, Belek, Side, Manavgat, Alanya, Kemer, Beldibi, Tekirova and Antalya city. Transport is in our own vehicles: a Minivan (VW Caravelle class), a VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito or a Mercedes Sprinter for larger groups.
The pickup time depends on where your hotel is and is given to you when you book. A private option with the vehicle for your group only can be requested. Child seats are free on request.
How to book
