İçmeler is a resort bay south-west of Marmaris town, linked to it by a seafront promenade. From Dalaman the road heads east past Ortaca and Köyceğiz, crosses the hills southwards to Marmaris and then follows the bay to İçmeler. The drive is about 103 km and usually takes around 105 minutes, which is manageable even with small children.
