The hotel now operates simply as Defne Garden, and either name is fine when you book. From the airport the route heads east along the main coastal road, past the turn-offs for Belek and through the farmland around Serik, before reaching the Side area. Kumköy lies on the west side of Side, so you arrive there before the ancient town itself, with its sandy beaches close by.

The drive is about 62 km and usually takes around 72 minutes. In high summer, traffic near the airport and on the coastal road can add a little time.
