The transfer is about 115 km and usually takes around 125 minutes. The road heads west across the Dalaman plain, past Ortaca and Köyceğiz, and through pine-forested hills down to Marmaris. After following the bay to İçmeler, the last section climbs over the headland on a narrow, winding road before dropping down into Turunç; your driver takes this part at a steady pace.

After baggage claim, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name and helps with your luggage. We track your flight, so an early or late landing is no problem and waiting on delays is free. A night arrival costs the same as a daytime one, and there are no luggage fees — useful if you are bringing extra bags for a longer stay.

Allow for the winding road and around 125 minutes of driving, and plan to be at Dalaman Airport about 2–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. For a 15:00 departure, for example, a pick-up in Turunç at around 10:00 is a sensible choice; for early flights this means leaving in the night.
