The tour at a glance
This is the calmer, more comfortable way to see Antalya's old city. As the name says, it runs as a small group, which means less waiting, more time at each stop and a relaxed rhythm through the day. It suits couples, older travellers and anyone who prefers a gentle pace to a packed itinerary.
- Old town highlights – Kaleiçi, the walled historic quarter: Hadrian's Gate, the triple-arched marble gate built around 130 AD for the Roman emperor's visit; the fluted Yivli Minaret, a Seljuk landmark; the Kesik Minaret, a building whose history runs from Roman temple to church and mosque; and the Hıdırlık Tower, the round Roman tower at the edge of the old town above the sea.
- Karaalioğlu Park – the clifftop park beside Hıdırlık Tower, with shady paths and some of the best views over the bay to the Taurus Mountains.
- Boat segment – a boat trip from the old harbour along the cliffs of the city, seeing the walls and the coastline from the sea.
- Restaurant lunch – as stated in the tour name, the day includes a lunch stop at a restaurant; the details are confirmed when you book.

How the day runs
The tour takes about 9 to 10 hours door to door, with plenty of breathing room built in. The order of the stops can change with the weather and the season, but a typical day looks like this:
- Pickup from your hotel and drive to Antalya.
- Walk into Kaleiçi through Hadrian's Gate and explore the lanes and landmarks at an easy pace.
- Stroll to Hıdırlık Tower and Karaalioğlu Park for the views.
- Down to the old harbour for the boat trip along the coast.
- A long, unhurried lunch at a restaurant.
- Free time in the old town for coffee, shops or simply sitting in a shady courtyard.
- Return drive to your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening.
Good to know
Even at a slow pace, Kaleiçi is a walking district: the old stone lanes slope down towards the harbour and have steps in places, so comfortable shoes are a must. From May to October bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and water, and plan the walking parts for the cooler hours where possible. A light layer is useful on the boat outside summer.
If you want to enter a mosque, shoulders and knees should be covered, and women may be asked to cover their hair; a light scarf is handy. Let us know about dietary needs when you book so they can be passed on for the lunch stop. The tour suits older travellers well; anyone with limited mobility can stay on the flatter streets and let the vehicle cover the longer distances. Children are welcome, though the long day suits school-age children better than toddlers.
Pickup and transport
We pick you up from your hotel and bring you back after the tour, from all resorts of the Antalya region – Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı, Belek, Side, Kemer, Alanya and the villages in between. From the far ends of the coast the drive into the city is longer. The pickup time depends on where your hotel is and is given to you when you book.
You travel in our own vehicles: a minivan of the VW Caravelle class, a VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito or a Mercedes Sprinter. If you prefer a fully private version with only your own group on board, just ask. Child seats are free on request.
