A short drive – but plan for city traffic
From the centre of Antalya to the airport is about 14 km, normally around 30 minutes. That is the easy part. What changes the timing is the city itself: weekday rush hours, summer evenings and busy junctions can easily double the journey.
For an international flight, airlines usually advise being at the terminal 2–3 hours before departure – check yours. A worked example:
- Flight at 10:00 → at the airport by about 07:30
- Drive of around 30 minutes → leave the city around 07:00
- Buffer for the morning commute → pickup at about 06:45
For an afternoon or early-evening flight, add a little more time, as that is when city traffic tends to be heaviest. Roughly 3–3.5 hours before take-off is a comfortable rule.
Pickup in the city and in Kaleiçi
Your driver meets you at the agreed time at your hotel entrance or lobby, or outside your apartment building. Many lanes in Kaleiçi, the old town, are narrow or closed to vehicles, so we may agree a nearby meeting point that a vehicle can reach – just send us your hotel name or address and we will suggest the most practical spot.
If your flight is late in the day, ask reception about late check-out or a luggage room so you can explore without your suitcases. For a pre-dawn pickup, pack and settle your bill the evening before.
Terminal drop-off and the right vehicle
Antalya Airport has more than one terminal. Tell us your airline or terminal and the driver will take you straight to the correct departures entrance. The transfer is private – no shared shuttle, no other stops.
