Colakli is a coastal resort area west of Side, in the Manavgat district of Antalya province. Unlike a classic town, it is mainly a long ribbon of resort hotels set behind a wide, sandy beach, with fields and greenhouses on the land side and the Taurus Mountains on the horizon.

The atmosphere is calmer than in central Side. Most guests come for an all-inclusive holiday where the beach, pools and restaurants are all on site, which makes Colakli especially popular with families and with travellers who simply want to switch off. When you want a change of scene, the ancient harbour and old town of Side are a short drive east, and the market town of Manavgat is not much further.

The distance is about 61 km and the journey usually takes around 71 minutes. From the airport your driver joins the D400 coastal highway heading east, passes the turn-offs for Belek and the town of Serik, and leaves the main road shortly before Manavgat to reach the resort road along the beach. It is a straightforward, well-built route used by most holiday traffic on this coast.

Once you have your luggage, step out into the arrivals hall, where your driver will be standing with a sign showing your name. We monitor your flight number, so an early landing or a delay is no problem: the driver adjusts the pick-up time and waiting on delays costs nothing. On departure day, plan to reach the airport about 2.5–3 hours before an international flight — check your airline's advice. For a 13:00 flight, for example, a pick-up from Colakli at around 08:45 gives you enough time for the drive, check-in and security.
