Antalya Business Transfer: Airport, Congress Hotels and Venues

For a business trip, congress or trade event in Antalya, a pre-booked private transfer is the simplest way to get from the airport to your hotel or venue: a driver waits in AYT arrivals with your name sign and the price per vehicle is fixed in advance. Executives usually travel in a VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito, while delegations and teams of 8–16 people fit in a Mercedes Sprinter, with several vehicles for larger groups.

Why so many business events take place in Antalya

Antalya is not only a beach destination. Many of the large resort hotels in Belek and Lara have congress halls and meeting rooms, so medical congresses, sales meetings, incentive trips and company conferences are held here all year, especially in spring and autumn. Trade fairs and events also take place at the Antalya Expo Center in Aksu, close to the airport, and plenty of meetings happen in offices and hotels in the city centre.

For visitors this is convenient: Antalya Airport (AYT) is close to all of these places. Lara is ≈ 14 km or about 20 minutes away, Belek ≈ 35 km or about 40 minutes, and the old town of Kaleiçi ≈ 16 km or about 25 minutes. Times are typical and can be longer in high-season or rush-hour traffic.

If the congress hotel itself is fully booked, colleagues often stay in nearby hotels in Kadriye (≈ 29 km from AYT) or Boğazkent (≈ 43 km). In that case it is worth planning daily transfers to the venue from the start rather than looking for a car every morning.

Arrival: a name sign instead of a taxi queue

After a morning flight and before an afternoon session, nobody wants to negotiate at the taxi rank or look for the right shuttle bus. With a private airport transfer, your driver meets you in the AYT arrivals hall holding a sign with your name or your company or event name. The flight is tracked, so if it lands late the driver adjusts and waiting is free.

You go straight to the vehicle and straight to your hotel or venue, with no stops for other passengers. For a team arriving on different flights, each arrival can have its own pick-up, so no one waits for colleagues who land hours later.

Many business flights land late in the evening or at night. There is no night surcharge, so a midnight arrival costs the same as a midday one, and you can go straight to bed instead of waiting at the taxi rank.

Choosing the right vehicle

  • VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito (1–7 people): the usual choice for executives, speakers and guests of honour. Comfortable seating, space for suitcases and laptop bags, and room to talk or take a call on the way.
  • Minivan (1–6 people): a practical option for small teams and colleagues travelling together.
  • Mercedes Sprinter (8–16 people): for delegations, sales teams and departments travelling together, with space for luggage, roll-ups and display material.
  • Several vehicles: for bigger groups, several Sprinters and Vitos can be booked for the same arrival or departure.

Compare the vehicles on the fleet page. For larger teams, the guide to group transfers by Sprinter explains how to plan seats and luggage.

Transfers between hotel and venue

Not every event takes place in the hotel where you sleep. You may be staying in Lara and attending a fair at the Expo Center, or staying in the city centre and visiting a client in Belek. A private transfer with agreed times works well here: the driver picks you up at the hotel entrance at a fixed time and takes you back after the session or the dinner at a time agreed in advance.

For a gala dinner, a client visit or a team evening in Kaleiçi, simply add the extra legs to your booking. Because the price is fixed per vehicle and agreed before the trip, there is no surprise for night-time journeys, waiting in traffic or extra luggage.

Many business travellers also add a day or two to see the city. The old town of Kaleiçi, the Düden waterfalls and the ancient city of Perge are all close to the airport and to the Lara hotels, so a short private trip fits easily between the last session and the flight home.

Group bookings with one contact person

When an assistant, an event organiser or a team leader books for a whole group, it helps to keep everything in one place. One contact person sends the list of travellers, flight numbers and arrival times, hotel names and the number of people per vehicle, via WhatsApp or the booking form. Changes, such as a delegate on a later flight or an extra person joining, are handled in the same chat.

You receive a fixed-price quote within a minute, and the live prices for each route are on the route pages, for example Antalya Airport to Belek or Antalya Airport to Lara. There is no prepayment: payment is made in the vehicle, in cash or by card if agreed in advance, and cancellation is free.

Departure day

On the last day sessions often run late, and flights do not wait. Book the return transfer at the same time as the arrival, then confirm the exact pick-up time once the programme is final. As a rule, allow for the drive time to AYT plus the time your airline recommends before departure. Ask the hotel reception whether you can leave luggage in the luggage room after check-out, so you can attend the closing session and leave straight from the venue.

For a group leaving on different flights, plan the pick-ups in waves, one vehicle per flight time, instead of sending everyone to the airport at the earliest departure.

Checklist for business travellers and organisers

  • Flight numbers and arrival times; these allow flight tracking.
  • Hotel or venue for each person.
  • Number of people and luggage per vehicle, including display material.
  • Times for venue transfers, dinners and the return to the airport.
  • A mobile number for the contact person, reachable on WhatsApp.
