The Land of Legends Antalya: Theme Park Guide and Transfer

The Land of Legends is one of the best-known family attractions on the Antalya coast. It is a single complex in Kadriye, right next to the Belek hotel area, with several parts that work differently:

• Theme park: rides and attractions for different ages, from gentle family rides to bigger thrill rides.
• Water park: slides and pools, the part most families come for in summer.
• Evening show area: a large open area with fountains and lights where the evening show takes place.
• Shopping avenue: a long street of shops, cafés and restaurants that you can walk without a theme park ticket. We cover it in detail in our Land of Legends shopping avenue guide.

Because it is so big, it is worth deciding before you go which parts matter to your group. A family with small children, a group of teenagers and a couple who mainly want the shops and the show will plan three very different days.

This is the point that surprises many visitors: not everything is open all year. Some rides and the water park are seasonal, and the theme park and water park need tickets that are separate from the free shopping area. Ticket types, what they include, opening days and show times can all change from season to season.

So before you book anything, check the official Land of Legends site for:

• which parts are open on your date,
• which ticket covers what you want to do,
• whether the evening show runs on your day.

Once you know that, plan the transfer around it.

For most families the best Land of Legends day is a long one. A plan that works well in summer:

1. Arrive early. The water park is best before it gets crowded and before the midday heat. Ask for a morning pickup from your hotel.
2. Water park first. Spend the morning and early afternoon on the slides and pools.
3. Rides in the afternoon. Change into dry clothes and move on to the theme park rides.
4. Dinner on the shopping avenue. Take a break, eat and browse the shops.
5. Evening show. Find a spot in good time; the show is the natural end of the day.
6. Return after the show. Book your transfer back for after the show ends, not before.

If you only want the shopping avenue and the show, a late afternoon pickup is enough.

• From Antalya Airport (AYT): Kadriye is ≈ 29 km and ≈ 33 minutes away. If you are staying in Kadriye, see the airport to Kadriye route for the live price.
• From Belek and Kadriye hotels: you are close; many hotels are only a short drive away. Belek is ≈ 35 km from the airport, see the airport to Belek route.
• From Side, Çolaklı, Kumköy and Manavgat: about an hour by car, heading west along the main coast road.
• From Kemer: also about an hour, because you pass Antalya on the way; city traffic can add time.
• From Lara, Kundu and Antalya city: you drive east along the coast towards Belek, so it is a shorter trip than from Side or Kemer.

Getting there is easy; getting back late in the evening with tired children is the part to plan. With a private transfer, your driver is booked for your group only, and the price is fixed per vehicle, not per person, agreed before the trip and not changed for traffic or late hours. There is no night surcharge.

• Book both ways at once: a morning or afternoon trip there, and a return for after the show.
• Agree the meeting point: confirm where you will be picked up so you are not searching in the evening crowd.
• Vehicles: Minivan for 1–6, VIP Mercedes-Benz Vito for 1–7, Mercedes Sprinter for 8–16 people, handy when several families go together.
• Child seats: free on request.
• Payment: in the vehicle, no prepayment.

The Land of Legends is built first of all for families, but different groups use it in different ways:

• Families with younger children: the water park and gentle rides fill a whole day. Plan breaks in the shade and do not try to see everything.
• Teenagers and friends: the bigger rides and slides are the main attraction; a group of 8 or more travels comfortably together in a Sprinter.
• Couples and adults: many come only for the shopping avenue, dinner and the evening show, which makes a relaxed evening out from a Belek or Lara hotel.
• Off-season visitors: when the water park is closed, the shops and restaurants can still make a pleasant afternoon; check first what is open.

• Pack a separate bag for wet swimwear and towels, and a dry change of clothes for the evening.
• Sun cream and hats matter: much of the day is outdoors.
• Agree a meeting point inside the park in case someone gets separated in the crowd.
• Small children may be tired before the show; a stroller is useful for the evening.
